let me rephrase ... a single zukkie can take up 8 to 10 square feet ... that a lot of raised bed for 3 Zs....

and i dont know if i would waste a raised bed on such .... they sorta grow like weeds ... unless this is a handicap access issue ...

A 4 foot by 4 foot raised bed at least 10 inches deep would be adequate.

4'x4' is not even close to being large enough to accommodate all those plants!! 3 indeterminate cherry tomatoes could fill most of that all by themselves, And ken's suggestion for the approximate size of a single zucchini plant is dead on!

I think you need to be looking at a 4'x8' bed at a minimum. Crowding plants only encourages disease issues.

reminds me of a very old blurb in readers digest .... the only time they lock their cars in newport RH ... was during Z season ... else you are likely to come back from your errand.. and find your backseat full of Zs .. lol

there are a couple T forums .... and i think there are quite a few peeps who grow them in 5 gal buckets .... kind of an independent raised bed ... prob'ly balcony type peeps ....

again ... neither crop is one i would think.. would need some fancy raised bed ... but you never came back and explained why ... i can think of a lot of other things i might grow in such ... more foo foo things ... perhaps like a kitchen herb garden .... leave the monsters for beside the compost pile or some such ...
