Yes, they take a bit to flower (2-3 years). Yours looks fantastic!

It may be a Pubicalyx Red Buttons, usually RHP has at least some red splotching. Whose to know anymore though, the lines get so blurred over time with these more common Hoyas.

Some of it's new leaves are splotched with red, others are all red, like the stems. Who knows what it is! But it is happy and growing so I don't care. I recently bought and potted up 2 pink silvers and they are giving this plant a run for it's money :D

very nice plant..I had mine bloom within the first year so take heart it may be sooner than later. more sun is always helpful.

i make a trellis from wire "fencing" at the box stores. there are several styles and heights (12"-18"?). they come all hooked together but I take them a part and if they are too wide to fit in the pot i bend them into a curved shape. so you can make several trellis-es from one piece of this fence. it is usually used as a border around a garden.
