I want to hang a decorative table runner on the wall. I think it is cotton. I sewed velcro to the top and attached to a strip of wood which I hung on the wall. The problem is that the bottom of this long piece of fabric needs some stabilization. I was thinking of getting some fabric that matches the background of the table runner (ivory), making a false hem and inserting a small strip of wood in the hem. Any advice or suggestions?
