Grading issues

I have two problems here. All with the same denominator. Backyard slopes back to the house which causes my window well to flood. I need a solution for my gutter. I currently have it going into a rain barrel. I also have a hose that runs from the barrel all the way to the driveway (down hill). Often, the rain barrel does flood during heavy rains. Second, the sub pump drain is very ugly. I had to extend so the water does not come back to the house. Need to figure out a way to simplify this and make it look clean and organized. Please help.

You need massive water control rather than small fixes. I suspect you have water intrusion into any lower area which can over time, badly affect your foundation. My guess is you need a French drain all around the foundation of this home, gutters with proper extended dumps system into large field, and just about every other thing you can think of to control this water problem. You need a good professional to come and assess your situation. Good luck. Not an easy, or inexpensive problem to solve.

I see you have "sandbagged" the top of your basement stairway. As Flo said, you really need to have a professional remedy your situation. Please take our advice, water intrusion is the #1 cause of expensive home repairs.
