I've had one flower with mostly red but never entirely red like yours. The next year mine were the usual Gervase flowers from the same bulb as the previous year. Interesting though....

I can't wait for next year's blooming now. Thanks for confirming it happens more than once in a century. Makes for pretty pictures, in a way.

I had to go searching to see if I remembered mine correctly. MIne wasn't as red as I remembered but was interesting.

Gervase is one of my favorite blooms! You never know what you'll get. I think all of my Gervase have died, unfortunately. I had three of them a few years ago.
