Hi Mariene I was looking for darker blooms as the pollan came from a almost black ( dark red) bloom the mother was like the single bloom I keep saying I will not pollinate any more plants but just can't stop just crossed 8 more blooms so we will see . If I didn't do this I would have to go back to work

Both flowers are lovely. Very interesting to see ... One would expect to see some characteristics of the darker bloom, as well. Maybe on 2nd bloom. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

BTW, I have experienced a change in color intensity with high (August) sun exposure.
