I agree 100% with nana25. In our previous house we had gray stone. We pulled a shade of gray from the stone that was around the middle of the stone's colour range for the garage doors and painted our front door a true red. It was charming and welcoming to have our front door stand out. (Your house is going to be lovely!)

One more vote for having the garage doors blend in with the rest of the house. You want your front door to "pop" -- have fun with your new house!

I agree -- do not do the garage doors the same color as your home. I prefer the garage doors to match the siding color, which makes them blend in well. Matching the stone is a nice option, too, as long as it doesn't contrast with the siding color too much (which could in turn compete with the front door for your attention when you look at the house).

I'm going to throw out a different opinion. Have you considered a stained faux wood garage door to pull out colors in the stone and complement your front door?
