I would keep the vanity white. Lower the art over the toilet

Do you have a messurement suggest from the floor? I am 5 foot tall & my husband is 6'3 our "eye level" is very different ! Both art pieces are equal distance from the ceiling.

Honestly, you love navy? Great, just not in this room. I'm thinking you saw a navy room and fell in love with it? I'd be willing to bet it had major architectural bones, and lots of white trim. If you must do it, do the whole thing navy. The problem is, though, that that kind of high drama requires some real architectural heft to stand up to the strong colour, and your current vanity is not up to the job, and the mirror isn't helping. You would also need lots of white accents to break up the darkness so people don't feel like they're in deep space. There is a LOT going on in this bathroom: random pops of navy, wide horizontal stripes in a different blue, a lace shower curtain over glass doors, a scalloped valance . . . It actually looks like you have a nice bathroom to work with. I like the lighter blue-grey. If you are keeping the accent wall, please put the lighter blue-grey paint on the partition next to the toilet. (It looks pretty random.) I'd tone down and edit and concentrate on some really beautiful accessories. I'm thinking bathrooms should be calming, not stressful, and this one is very, very busy. (Whatever you do, I think it goes without saying that the vanity should stay white.) Sorry for the honesty. :)

You'll be fine. I remember a certain pink powder room when I first got married 30 years ago. I think I'd describe the colour as Pepto Bismol pink. ago. (It got repainted very quickly.) You're way ahead of where I was. Honestly, the best way to develop your sense of style is to do the research. If you have the Houzz app, enter a search term into the photos section and start creating idea books. If you find articles accompanying magazine pictures, read for clues which tell you why something works. For all the hype around decorating, it's not rocket science. It's a skill like anything else and it takes practice. Enjoy!

I just googled "navy bathroom". You'll find some great inspirational photos if you really want to go for it. Notice how much white is used with the navy. It could be very nice.
