Hello! We had water damage in our kitchen and other parts of the house. The cabinets will be pulled out tomorrow and the rest of the place has dehumidifiers everywhere to let the concrete dry up. They will be replacing the wood floors. We are wondering if we could change the kitchen design. We would like to flatten out the counter where the sink is and where you can see the barstools. But we are also wondering if we could make that whole section straight instead of curved and then make the island in the center longer and thinner than it currently is. Does anyone have any suggestions? Also, is it difficult to move lighting up top so that it would be straight as well? Trying not to spend a fortune on redesigning it! Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
