The large mirrors came from IKEA- no longer in production. They do however offer a similar round mirror slightly smaller but a good size named "Stockholm" in walnut veneer.

I first saw the mirrors I used a couple months prior to needing them and new they were a hit. When it was time to purchase them for the project, I no longer saw them on line. A dear friend went to the IKEA in Bollingbrook and bought the one they had left and talked them into selling the display sample.

By the way the mirrors only came in natural finished maple plywood with a white plastic laminated inner surface to protect the frame from splashed water from the sinks. I changed the wood finish to the matching brown of the bathroom cabinetry by using Minwax "PolyShades" in the Mission Oak satin. This is a product I have used successfully when I want to change the color of the wood finish for a custom designer effect without the cost of custom finished to order furniture. The product is a stain and Polyurethane combined and may be applied over another finish as long as it is a darker tone than the original.
