Parlor palm

hi everyone im new to the garden community , i decided to buy a parlor palm for my first plant and Ive had my plant for 2 and a half weeks now. But for some reason my parlor palm stems seems to be browning. I dont know why. Can someone help me save my plant or tell me why this is happening .
