Hi I am 22 and new to garden web & I plan on trying to start a garden for the first time since I'm finally out of the city and have a good sized yard. I would like to start a flower garden in the front of my house and grow veggies/fruit in the back. Looking for seeds in exchange for a stamped envelope/online payment since I don't have any of my own seeds yet to trade. Around my town a couple people have small garden stands by the road with extra veggies, etc. for people to take and id like to do that if i grow enough to have extras. Also open to ALL gardening advice since I'm really inexperienced. I live in western NY which I believe is zone 5. Thank you :)

I think you'd have more luck if you went over to the Seed Exchange forum. They have offers for a "newbie pack", where you can get started :)

How far is Morristown from Ooltewah. Tn? If it's not too far we could meet around the half way point. I'd venture closer but my health isn't the best lately.

I can trade plant cuttings/rootings for plants & seeds. Are you interested?

Im guessing you are in middle Tennessee from when i yse to go to my grandparents in Pelham. So i am around 3 hiurs from you! Which isnt bad.

I too am in bad health. I gave Lupus and Fibromyalgia. Plus i take care of my parents. But im sure i can work out a day and would love to! My daughter in law would love to get out if the house and could help me drive if its ok she accompanies me. Let me look at my schedule. I know we are going thru a lot if Dr. apps. right now with mom..and see what i can work out. I'll also work on a list!

That sounds great. I leave in SE Tennessee outside of Chattanooga and nearer to GA actually.

Right now I have 4 different mints I could share: spearmint, peppermint, mint julep, and lemon mint, cutting of English Ivy, Yellow Iris, Genovese Basil, Thai Basil, Cherry Tomatoes, Roma Tomatoes, VictoriaBlue Salvia, Veronica Blue Speedwell, lanceleaf Coreopsis, etc.

What do you have to trade? This could be fun!

Of course your daughter-in-law is more than welcome to come as well.

Tomorrow ai have an iron infusion that will take at least 2 hours plus travel time.
