We our updating our kitchen and will be adding a Lacanche Range, painting cabinets, changing counters and hopefully adding a pantry. I'm stuck on what to do for a range hood, as you will see from the picture below our stove is on an angle. The current over the range microwave is only 15" deep and if we go any deeper the cupboards on either side will not open properly. Is there such a thing as a 15" deep range hood? Or should I consider open shelving? All of the nice ones I have found seem to be at least 18"... anyways I am thankful for any insight you have to offer!
