I'm looking for it too. Home Depot US (.com) now ships to Canada, apparently. There's an exports dept you can email or call to set it up. Looks like they have samples you can order first which is great.

Also, Overstock carries it as SomerTile. I know not everything on Overstock ships to Canada so have a search for "SomerTile" for the one you want to check shipping options.

There is also an Overstock Canada shopping portal for products that for sure ship here but it doesn't appear to have its own separate search functionality which is annoying, at least not on mobile. Don't have time to scroll through everything to see if any of the SomerTile products are in this Canadian section but here's the portal link:

    https://www.overstock.com/canada-welcome/

Their prices can get crazy though by the time you add in Canada shipping. Home Depot may be cheaper in the end.

Also, unless I'm completing remembering incorrectly, I'm sure I saw it on Wayfair awhile back but it may be out of stock as I don't see it now. Ordering from Wayfair.ca would be the easiest option in my experience, with all shipping and import fees clear upfront, if they stock it in future.

I think we will go with Urban Zebra encastica line or Ceratec terra. both very similar and available at local tile stores. Price is $8-9 sq ft so might end up being similar to the Merola?

Not familiar with them Timothea - thanks, I'll check them out. I'm always more comfortable ordering within Canada for renovation materials where possible (plus, I like to support Canadian businesses :-) so that may be your best option.

I started to look into these guys, also. I'm tempted to spend the extra for cement tiles since I'm only doing a small bathroom. Plus, by the time you add on exhange rate and shipping for the faux encaustic ceramic tiles from Home Depot US, the handmade cement options become all the more attractive...

Sorry thought they were the Toronto dealer but they're US also. These guys are the Toronto tile makers I was thinking of:

    that's a beautiful floor!!!

Thanks! I was horribly ill unfortunately (nothing contagious) and had only 1/2 day to plan this bathroom design and shop for all the materials (long story short - my contractor had a cancellation right before Christmas and wanted to come over the next day to do my job). So I'm thrilled it turned out as well as it did considering I was not of sound mind & body while shopping!

Five months on and I still love these tiles, guys. They clean well and they're really beautiful in person. Pretty thick / hefty. I've dropped several heavy items and no chips. Worth the price IMO - if you're on a middle-of-the-road budget like I was, you can save elsewhere (eg subway tile in bath/shower surround, discount vanity from Costco).

well you did a great job even under the circumstances! can I ask how much it was perfect sq ft? I'm hoping to find it at a dealer in the peel region. I think you're right though, driving to Buffalo to order the tiles and pay the fx rate makes it basically the same price. My only problem is if I do go to buffalo it gives me a chance to go to Target!

Thanks! The recommended retail price listed in the catalogue is $10.95/sqft. I believe I paid about $9.50/sqft using my contractor's discount - I can't put my hands on my receipt to confirm, im afraid.

I definitely got a discount. Still, not cheap compared to the HomeDepot merola tiles I'm afraid. Whether it's worth it depends on the size of your bathroom, I guess. This was a rare instance where my small footprint was actually a positive!

You can find pretty much any tiles that Home Depot USA might have at almost any real tile importer in your city

real tile stores will serve you with better prices, more knowledge. With a much better selection.

check any yellow pages for the importers In your area

pretty much all glass mosaics are from China and they are numerous and abundant.

real tile impotete WILL have a much better selection of all tiles. That is all they do

Interesting! I am currently sourcing for a client in Calgary, AB. It looks like we can special order them through Home Depot in Canada. At least there is a SKU#/ Model #. Hope this helps! They look beautiful! Can't wait to see the results.

Yes, finally! Thanks WW Design Studio. They do indeed appear to have the full Merola tile line available at Home Depot in Canada now; for anyone who’s still interested, just search “merola tile” at homedepot.ca. Too late for my bathroom project but there’s still the kitchen... :-)

Merola 3x6 beveled black tile. Anyone have any Canadian connections on this ? Homedepot.com has them but not the Canadian website. Just looking for the black coloured tiles.
