Agree that it looks like inlay, which is probably a bigger expense than you are prepared for.

I think that's about the closest you can get. Maybe just find a sharp contrasting taupe that you like? and/or mix in some sparkle to that?

Or find a very thin gold accent and have a line or two of that run between the otherwise dark tiles.

I'm not sure I'd want to try any tricks my tile guy isn't familiar with, though...

It is an inlay similar to what acm posted above. To achieve that look your tile must be rectified and the gold deco inlays must not be warped. If you don't want the inlay your next option would be a grout. The only grouts I'm aware of that come a true gold coloring will have some sort of glitter to them. Spectralock mentioned above by groveraxle and a product by Custom Building Products: Fusion Grout - Designer Series #556 Gold or #554 Raw Sugar (slightly warmer than the gold color)

Ugh I am looking for the same thing!! I want a METALLIC look like a gold leaf but muted. Not annoying glittery sparkles. :/ Anna had a good suggestion but those look like expensive in-lays. based on the attached photo it can clearly be done.

@Stephanie, did you ever find a solution? I'm in the same boat as you and can't find what I need anywhere short of ordering a custom color grout or getting a custom stain and applying after the fact. My contractor is pressing me for a decision and I just don't know!

Btw, Groutshield can replicate any color from a major grout company color chart or even a paint color. You'd have to select from either of the two & provide this information when ordering. This can be done after the fact, so I may go with white and take my time selecting a color.

The photo in the original post is not grout, it is definitely schluter inlay strips as mentioned by Anna above. They are sold in 8' strips and sit in between your tile.

@sugar taylor, where is that photo from? It doesn't really even look like tile there (in that photo anyway), maybe a printed image?

Butech by Porcelonosa makes a product called Epotech in gold and silver that is not glitter but is more metallic-y. I plan to mix the gold with a creamy color to match a light gold glass tile in my bathroom.

I was looking for the same thing. I found this "gold effect" sealant (Ottoseal S100, color C511) in the UK, but it looks quite pale, I'm not sure about delivery outside the UK (here's a link to it on amazon.co.uk) and it's not grout, it's sealant, but that's what the Kastar product on alibaba is.

Also I found this Bostik StarGlass grout on amazon.com, and it doesn't list gold as a color by name, but a number of them look kind of gold (2nd and 3rd pics below). It's also here on [Houzz[(https://www.houzz.com/products/starglass-bostik-dimension-grout-bronze-710-18lbs-prvw-vr~26451337).

Any way I hope that helps. I'd be interested to know if any of these work out as gold grout or if anyone has simply used the Bostik grout before.

We imported gold grout from China and will not be using it. It is a hold metallic - NOT SPARLY. It cost $400 to get it w shipping etc. We are willing to sell if anyone is interested. Very heavy for us to ship. Easiest to pick up if you are either in NY or DC. Metropolitan area.

I am looking for the exact same thing. A gold metallic, but not "glittery" grout or epoxy. The picture that Viktor posted are gorgeous. I believe the product is Kastar but I can only find it in bulk. Anyone having any luck?
