    Love Flo’s art suggestion.

You have a lot of big pieces in the room.

Could you put the sofa between the windows with Flo’s art above?

If so, I think other pieces could be rearranged to make the room feel less crowded.

You have too many tufted pieces of furniture in that space. And those two chairs are too small. So I would find another place for those chairs (due to size) and the chaise (due to too matchey of upholstery). Pull that animal skin rug further underneath the sofa and lay it at an angle. Get a glass coffee table for some sparkle ... the one you currently have is too casual to go with that sofa. Get two larger chairs, hang a piece of art work between the windows, and throw a faux fur throw on the couch. Put matching end tables on either side of the couch with table lamps and get rid of that one standing lamp.

What if you centered the sofa under the right window? Move the two chairs on one corner opposite the sofa and the chaise in the other. But I do agree the chairs are too small, better for a bedroom and the ottoman is too casual (and big.)

Where is the TV? Why is all of your furniture so close together? Please take more pictures, so that we can see the entire room.

So based on your photo, I'm assuming this is the home of a single woman. Not sure that is your situation, but this is what I assume from the furnishing selections. Nice color choices. Too much glare from the floor lamp.

Not sure I've ever seen anyone lie on a chaise. Men won't sit in those round slipper chairs without arms. And a flower canvas for the wall would not be my suggestion for this room. Always good to have a some black in a room for drama.

Next time you assemble a room, have it say more about who you are. Your travels, your interests etc. These neutral rooms below tell a story about the owners.

Shanique - all good thoughts above, but I think your room had you written all over it and I liked that about it. So, while we all have our opinions, do what makes you feel good too. Very important.

Shanique are you looking to add color or stay with neutral tones? I ask because my first inclination is to add a pop of color with artwork. (I adore color!) Looked like there was some pink and black in the pillow you have there on the chaise, so I would suggest looking for a large artwork that has pink along with some dark tones. That would add some spunk (and drama) to an already lovely room.

I am open to color for sure!!! Thanks!

I agree with Flo, the room is all you. You can try the sofa between the 2 windows as suggested, you would not put it smack against the wall.

The furniture and TV placement needs to be finalized, before anything else. You can put any color in your space, since it is all neutral.

Wow, you almost have an old Hollywood theme going on here. Instead of art ("spunk"), you could extend your beige sheer curtains all across that one wall, and also raise them a bit if you could, so that they come down straight from the ceiling. Just a thought...would be totally cool...

Imma scoop in and ask if you can give us a picture of your room in another angle and what is the dimensions of it. All of your furniture is beautiful and chic but I just think the layout looks clumped.

The room needs colors. It is very bland looking. Add a throw on the couch with some pillows. The curtains looks a bit dated but could possible look cool with a secondary solid color but light weight curtain (I'm not a curtain fan, so bare with me)
A nice large abstract picture/painting between the windows. All the accessories should compliment each other in color. Maybe pink hues or a mix of teals, green and turquoise.....DONT BE SCARED!

As far as the furniture arrangement, I think the biggest bang for your buck would be to replace the ottoman with a coffee table, and possibly move the chaise into a bedroom. There is just a lot of beige upholstery that blends together. :)
