Should i remove a leaf that is covering up a peduncle?

My Pachyclada Apodagis is budding up for the second time. It bloomed a couple months ago but only about 8 of the buds made it to maturity. The peduncle is slightly twisted because the leaf is in the way. The plant doesn't have that many leaves. Should i just go ahead and remove it?

Also, how many times can blooms come from the same peduncle?

I'd leave the leaf alone, it'll likely straighten out by itself. Think about it in nature, no one to come straighten it out. I'd expect it'll sort it out by itself.

Don't know the answer to your Q abt how many times can a peduncle bloom.
