It is Wisteria sinensis or Chinese Wisteria. A decidous aggressive vine that has spectacular purple blossoms in spring.

would it be evasive to a building? would it invade the building envelope? and what zone is it good for? please :)

Chinese Wisteria is aggressive but I would not consider it invasive. It attaches to trellis and lattice work via tendrils as opposed to barnacles. Therefore it will not climb up a building wall without a lattice framework of some kind. It will need occassional pruning if you want to limit its spread. It is a deciduous vine and can grow in cold weather. Check with your local nursery to verify it can grow in your climate.
