That's a big room! I'd suggest dividing the room into two separate spaces. One would be your TV space. I'd separate your sectional to keep the space inviting and improve traffic flow. Put the L against the dining room wall and the other section against the window wall with a space to get through in the middle. The other side of the room I'd probably think about putting a low console against the other side of the dining room wall that could double as entry storage (shoes, mail, etc) but could also be a space for serving if you entertain. I'd then make a reading nook or something with a set of comfy armchairs and reading lamp by the window.

First TV when moved would be best on a nice Tv console. Right now it is hung too high. Next put the tv on the end wall. Then turn the sectional so facing TV. Put a sofa table behind the back of sofa to warm up the look of the space. Get woven shades for the windows and panel drapes for each side of window. Then art for some of the walls. Start with those steps.

I like your blue and yellow color scheme. This chair from Crate and Barrel comes in a color called midnight that would carry on the theme.
