ID please, and suggestions to help flowering

Can anyone ID this Hoya?

It's a friend's plant. It has only flowered for her about every seven years, and she's had it about 20. She got it from someone who purportedly got it in Hawaii in 1945, so it's not a recent cultivar.

I don't have photos of the flowers, but I'll include a photo of flowers that she said resembles them in shape and fuzziness, but her flowers are pinker.

Her plant:

And here's a flower she says is similar but not as pink (hers are fuzzy)

Any suggestions for getting it to bloom yearly? I'd guess it needs more sun, but here in western Oregon, it's too wet and gloomy for anything but moss outside from about October through March or even April. I don't know squat about Hoyas though, so I don't know what they need to bloom.
