My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Should I hire interior decorator?

I am planning to renovate my basement in summer. I have checked lots of photo here on Houzz, but I still need someone can help me to design how it looks, like where I can have a fitness room, where I can maybe have a bar, how it will look.. etc. So who should I hire? A basement renovation company or interior designer? Thx lot.

    Who will be doing the work? Yourself as DIY or a contractor? If a contractor, do you know who you will be working with?

    A designer could help a lot with visualizing the space planning of the basement plus s/he will have contacts in the industry to source a contractor, tradespeople, furnishings...

    It sounds like the scope of your project warrants it.
