My jades get almost completely red parts of the year. I always assumed they are working as intended. Mine are just starting to get the dots and red edges yours has. They are planted in the ground and have been for decades.

Thanks everyone. It was not inside recently, and I kept it outside all winter. I'm starting to think this is all on the spectrum of normal, perhaps an indicator that it's getting a little too much sun. I'll move it to a more shaded place and see how it goes. Thanks!

Bay area, so you KNOW it's been getting plenty of water lately. It might be a good idea to check the houseplant or succulent forum. Me saying "mine does that too" maybe isn't really the best answer! :)
