Agartta, Nice plants. As to whether to prune or not, that is personal preference. Sometimes it is nice to have some variety eg: some left as taller specimens & some grown as more compact specimens. I do not prune at this time of year/Autumn. I would normally wait till Spring to do any pruning, as the plant is more active & will respond accordingly. I wouldn't worry too much about them being potbound through Autumn/Winter as there would be less chance of them getting rot, then if you repotted now into new soil.

By this time of year our plants have filled their pots well with roots & we leave them that way until Spring. I would enjoy the flowers for now & not jump into anything too quickly. That would be my advice. Rachel :)

Rachel - I hope my pink grows so beautiful like yours, I like the pots, I have seen some at Bunnings simmilar very low bowl pots, they look nice.

Hi Agartta, this plant was 4yrs old in this photo. This plant now grows at my brothers place as I gifted it to him. He loves Adeniums too.

We use a bark/style cacti/succulent potting mix.

These pots are a thick good quality plastic with lots of drainage holes & not the terracotta ones from Bunnings. My other post gives more information. :)
