Hi aseitz, Generally the natural fibers in our cowhides require no special cleaning. To remove dirt sweeping works great, just sweep along is with grain of hair. To lift a stain like a coffee stain, best to use would be a dry carpet cleaner. It is important to remember when cleaning a cowhide, as with any leather product don't soak it with water. Damp is ok, but if too wet the leather will dry wavy. For pet stains, there are a lot of carpet cleaners on the market targeted specifically to pet stains. :) Thanks for your interest in our products!
