Sure they will - you need to cut them off very carefully - I use a narrow blade Xacto knife - so you do not damage the mama and get yourself an intact sucker. Pin it to the soil and cover with a baggie - the sucker will root up and be a perfect starter plant in no time.

Ah ok thanks irina will give it a go once i let the soil dry a bit, question is my soil mix ok, since i do not have access to african violet potting soil i used my mixed like this

1 part potting soil, 1 part pumice stones, and 1/2 part black sand, or i do not need the black sand?
