Which handles for ball catch french doors?

I just installed a set of 60x80 15-Lite Pine French Interior Doors. These doors are ball catch. I'm trying to figure out the best way to approach the handle hardware. Since they are ball catch, I was thinking to install 4 inactive (dummy) handles to open and close the doors from both sides. But I was also thinking I could install an active handle and strike plate for the right side, and put some inactive handles (or none at all) on the left. Not sure what the standard and/or most practical approach is. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Attached is are pictures from inside the room they are on of the doors in general and the ball catch hardware.

Dummies (inactive) on all four would be correct, and most user friendly.

If you want to active latch one, the other must be fix pinned.

Hey, it's the Home Depot Special! We've installed that door. We've had clients do it both ways that you are talking about. The normal method would be 4 dummies but either way works. You definitely need to make the 2nd door immobile if you go the other route. if you do 4 dummies, you can also put a sliding pin lock up above to make it lockable if you need to.

I'm going to go with 4 dummies. If I ever want to change things up, I suppose I install a flush bolt and active handle.

One thing I noticed about the dummies is that the provided screws are pretty long. If there's a dummy on both sides, they will collide, so I guess you have to go short on the screws.
