why cant it ne centered

There is another sofa across from it. It wouldn't work if we moved it

Add something over the plant/side table that is not art to balance space. TJMaxx etc always has neat stuff.

What is the issue in moving the opposite sofa slightly to the right if the pictured sofa were centered on the wall?

your old posts show your living room i believe and there seems to be space to move both sofas enough to center the art with the couch.

There are two large windows on the other side. The sofa on the other side wouldn't be centered on the middle of the windows.

It looks fine the way it is now. I would probably get a plant that is a bit taller, but other than that it's fine

What do you think about a very large tree with large container that would cover the space of the wall and move the lamp elsewhere? That might make it balanced. Or add a coffee table and a very large plant. Or run electrical and hang a large pendant light globe to the left and maybe an over-sized wall mirror above a coffee table. That would make the art kind of feel like a triptych. Or you might add a bookcase. I feel the scale of the plant stand is too small for the sofa and the tall skinny lamp takes your eyes up drawing attention to the blank space. Hope that helps.

What if you switched lamp and table with plant? Line from art to plant would then be an arc instead of a zigzag. Also, the light then becomes usable for reading on the sofa.

I think all you need is to move the lamp next to the sofa. I like the pictures you have and keep them centered to the coach.

Put the table in front of the lamp.

Agree with Linda above; put the table to the front of the sofa like and the lamp behind it or if there is another sofa opposite move floor lamp completely and buy a pair of large lamps that mimic the color of the lamps. You will get more design wow if you have some contrast going with sofa, pillows or art work.....possibly paint wall behind sofa a nice color from the art work tht will provide contrast with the art and the sofa as they seem to be all the same colors.

PS if you have another floor lamp you could place them behind the sofa centered, or remove the end table, center the lamps and then put sofa in front of them and just do a soft ottoman for safety and comfort and more texture or color for the room.

Try putting the lamp behind the end table. Plant appears to be too big for table. Find something else for table ( several books stacked horizontally, candles, etc). Consider putting plant on floor by table.

I think it's nice lie it is. You could treat the whole little area like a vignette, like a little perfect comfortable, attractive area. I think if you hung a smaller different picture a littl lower ot connect it to the table and lamp i drew in my terrible drawing, it would all be united and flow. Your sofa needs pillows to look inviting. Maybe some books and a throw. Make sure you get a lamp high enough, no squatty lamp. It's nice as is, though.

Forget to center the paintings on the sofa and take the space of the wall as a whole, then I would buy a painting more and the center with respect to the wall, all this will form a harmonious set with the sofa the lamp and the plant.
