Cement tile in wet spaces?

Several contractors have told me not to use cement tile in bathrooms and also keep mentioning difficult instillation because of differences in thickness.
What's up?? They are beautiful!!

Hi there - Thank you for your question. There are many different kinds of cement tiles out there on the market. It is true that it is a handmade product and so slight variation is inevitable, but certain things - like thickness - can be controlled. Granada Tile has standardized the thickness of the tile to within 1 mm. Perhaps your contractors have had the misfortune of installing poorly made cement tiles before. As you'll see on our website, we have had lots of folks install our tiles in bathrooms to great effect. Hope this is helpful!
