Wall decor or console table decor advice?

Have 42" between two windows. Not sure what to do here. Have considered a TV hidden behind art. A round metal wall hanging or a really great floral arrangement in that vase. Still in construction mode, but getting there.

i think a tv would be a tight fit and not look very good, squeezed between two windows. if you were to ever put up drapes too, it would look even more weird. not to mention most tvs even under 40 inches are still kind of bulky and jut out so art would need space to fit on or around the tv.

Is this where you plan to put the tv? Either way, I would put a lower table there.

Looking in from foyer. Expecting to flip sectional to have it back up against kitchen once construction is complete. Don't necessarily need a TV in here as kitchen and FR both have them. Ideas?

Agree about TV. The wall or table needs something though I'm not sure what.

i have a somewhat similar issue so i cant really give advice but if i find inspiration ill run back to this post. maybe other designers can give ideas.

Is it too tall to go behind the sofa? It is certainly too tall to look right in front of those windows. It is very contemporary compared to the dining/breakfast furniture, and too matchy-matchy with the coffee table in such a small space. Which direction are you going here - contemporary or country? I can't see both working well together.

I've been looking for some time for a piece like that for my dining room. It would be perfect.

Kitchen table and chairs are leftover from previous design. Planning to replace K chairs and possibly revamp table with new legs and paint. Console table could go behind sofa, but not sure I liked it there. Moving toward rustic contemporary if that makes sense.

Pam, the table was purchased from a small vendor who used reclaimed barn wood at Brimfield Fair.

Its a good looking set, but just not working with the surroundings and other pieces. If you're changing it all to this rustic contempo look, then get a sofa high enough for the table to sit behind it without being too tall.
