Hello all, I'm looking for your experiences and hoping a pro can weigh in. The home I am buying is a split entry with the basement garden level. It has had water damage in the past and currently has carpet. I was all ready to use luxury vinyl planks- but am reading conflicting info about whether this contains dangerous phthalates or other chemicals. Some flooring is FloorScore certified, but not sure what to trust!

By the way, lots of work in the basement- here are some photos to give you an idea how much there is to do :)
