What color are the floors? Light, medium, or dark?

I would suggest going with a rug that has a light background and a pattern to create a nice visual break between the floors and sofa, to complement the light T.V. stand, and to add some interest to the solid sofa and floors.

@yvonnecmartin - If I recall correctly, they were medium to dark.

@Elle - have any suggestions on specific rugs from wayfair.com & luluandgeorgia.com

Of course, I don't what styles you prefer or what size your room will be, because both of those will make a difference for what you eventually purchase. But, I like this rug because it has a lot of color possibilities. And here are just a few of those colors in side chairs.
