Lilium lancifolium is the only species that is listed as deer resistant. Not sure I'd be willing to test that as IME, deer will eat whatever they feel like at the moment, regardless of how 'deer resistant' it may be considered :-)

btw, the Asiatic hybrids have very complex parentage, including L. lancifolium, but probably nowhere enough lancifolium genes to deter deer.

Thanks for your response. I am, unfortunately, so over run with deer that I know they will at least taste, if not destroy, just about anything. I am attempting to rework a bed with all deer resistant plants. It is one of the few beds I have that they have left pretty much alone. It isn't on their path way around the house as the others are. I would so like to have some lilies. I may try one just to see if they eat it too. It wasn't always so bad and I have lilies in my beds but only when I spray individual buds with liquid fence, do I ever see a bloom. I have forgotten what color they are :(
