I live in the snow belt near Cleveland. There's a good 16 inches of snow out here, but the majority fell between late Tues pm to early Wednesday am. Plenty of time for crews to clear the streets for me to get to work.

I'm from the greater philadelphia area. Correct me if i'm wrong, but you must be northern or coastal jersey in zone 6A. These are absolutely gorgeous plants, so I must ask if you don't mind--where do you buy from? I've only seen rare and exotic orchids (i.e. not phals) at Waldor near Atlantic City and a few smaller places that get shipments from them, and I'm dying to find new places to check out.

I was actually going to go to that! Darn, I should have. I was on their website the other day as someone else suggested joining an orchid society as well, when payday comes I think I'll join!

If you haven't already, check out Waldor Orchids. Probably a far drive from you, but totally worth it in my opinion. I drove almost 2 hours but boy do they have some awesome stuff

I have never been to Waldor but they are one of the vendors at the Deepcut society show so I have purchased plants from them.

Another place to check out is Silva Orchids in Neptune NJ. They are having a repotting demonstration coming up in June where you can bring in 2 plants and they will repot for free. There will also be a speaker from New World Orchids to discuss Neofinetia culture.
