I would say too wide and too high. Keep looking.

Perhaps finding mirrors that are tall, elongating and around the same width would be a better choice...

Ideally, the 28" nightstands should be 7" wider than your mirrors. That means a 21" mirror. Pretty skinny for a mirror! Perhaps a pair of stacked prints each side will fit the footprint better. Cut out some templates from paper grocery bags and use painter's tape to try them out.

Go to a custom frame shop. They can put mirrors in the frames you choose. They have literally hundreds of choices. They'll make the mirror the exact size you need. Just be certain of your frame and the size you need because they're custom and they won't be returnable. The prices are comparable to any mirror you find on line.

No need to settle for something that isn't quite right.
