Don't smack that spider

I spotted this on my news feed. My apology if it has already been posted. I appreciate spiders and usually leave my spidees alone. Currently there is a small jumper spider in a corner, waiting for spring. The outdoor temp is about 30 deg. F with 12 inches or more of snow. I will leave her alone for a while, but have nothing but water to offer

The link didn't work for me but no matter. I was even able to show my wife how to safely catch spiders and let them go outside (weather permitting). At this time of year any spiders we catch go on the houseplants.
