Hoya problems, almost 2 mos. later

I posted on Jan. 26 about my hoya carnosa that was turning yellow. The leaves have shriveled and are a deeper yellow now. I repotted it in January and the roots looked good. I started misting the plant twice a day last week and that plumped up some of the leaves close to the base but they have stayed yellow. I cut off the worst looking leaves today. They were drying out and the stems were shriveled. Also one small section of vine that was dead. In trimming some of the leaves, I could see that the vine itself was alive and green. There is a new green shoot coming up and at this point I am wondering if I should just cut everything else back to the ground. What are your thoughts on this?
