I hope these guys grow a bunch this summer. Otherwise I am considering moving to a more tropical region to get this addiction going in the right direction:)

I'll finish with a picture of most of the gang (7 are missing in the photo - still in dormancy). These are under the lights and I am waiting for the new heat mat that I ordered. These are all Golden Crown and RCN except for 1 single Obesum.

Well hello Steffen, great to see you back again, and with the twins too! They're looking awesome, congrats on your experiment. Someone else, Tan, if I recall correctly has also been doing some twinning and has good results. Maybe you can take a look at his post too.

Drastic thoughts to move to a warmer climate juts for the adeniums....so I'm guessing that was a tongue in cheek comment :-)

Yeah, I sort of went dormant when my plants did. I had a terrible time Trying to login, couldn't reset my password but managed to get in today. Weird stuff.

The dormancy was interesting. I was very anxiuos about watering them too much. They started getting soft and I was sure that I had over watered them and that they were dying. I watered even less as a result of this. They just became softer and softer.

I finally took a leap of faith and watered more and things started changing to the better. I'm not afraid of letting them go dormant next again!

The twins have grown together nicely! Unfortunately mine didn't stick together, I'll have to regraft them.

ConnyNL - Sad to hear. I used superglue, there is still some that is slowly pealing off.

How did you join the grafts?

I joined them when they were very young. I sliced a little of the side of both, and also used superglue. They stuck together for a good 6 months, but then decided to seperate.

The roots are all intertwined though, so this week I'll try it again.

I Wonder why mine seem to have made it. Could it be that mine slowed down when entering dormancy? The joint strengthened without the straints of growing at the same time?
