no plant holds its leaves forever... there is always cyclical leaf loss ...

can we have a pic of the whole ... to see how severe it is ...

minor leaf damage... perhaps from the goo you put on.. or from putting it outdoors.. straight out into sun ... could have caused MINOR damage ... which you are now seeing the impact of ..

always include where you are ... in this case.. so we can speculate how intense the sun is ...

I'm from Bulgaria and yeah last year summer was pretty hot and unfortunately when I took it out I've made the mistake of putting it in a place where the sun was shining on it in lunch hours so a lot of leaves got burnt. It recovered tho and I got coffee beans so I don't think the problem was the sun also after it recovered leaves were fine until I got the bugs and then the tiny brown spots. Right now it's not outside because it's still not warm enough at nights.

Here is a picture of the whole plant they are actually 5 plants because when I bought it I didn't bother removing the smaller ones so now I have 2 big plants which got coffee beans and 3 smaller ones that probably wont grow anymore because the pot is not big enough.

You can even see some of the dried leaves that I'm going to remove later. It had twice as much leaves than it has now.

yours may have had some additional stresses ... so perhaps the leaf loss is a bit higher than usual ...

but frankly ... that plant looks great ... dont go trying to fix problems.. you may not have ...

i bet by the time it leafs out ... it will look fine ...

you are probably going to have pot issues in the next few years ... media does wear out .... at the link below.. the 3rd link is about propagation ... you may want to start some new cuttings ... and eventually get rid of this huge houseplant... that appears to be taking over the room ...

Well the plant is pretty big that's true but I don't think its going to grow anymore and I've been taking care for it for so long I'm not just going to trash it unless it dies. So the brown spots don't mean anything? I thought it's some kind of fungus because the leafs dry out and die while they r still green!

if they sunburned.. minimally .... when you you put it out in blistering sun ... they could have been superficially damaged .. and just now falling off... as the plant gets ready for this years growth ... pure speculation ...

the point of propagating.. is to grow a new piece of the same plant ... which you can live with.. for another long time ... this is how i rejuvenate a plant ... a young new plant with new vigor ... but the same plant i have always had ... this often is done .. for me anyway .. when i can not pot up the old plant due to size ...
