What's the difference?

A "busted" chelsea is just a chelsea that is reverting or that has reverted.

Yes, a lot of its leaves have lost their dimples and take on a more wine color. I had one a year or two ago that was very dark green/wine colored. It really didn't resemble a Chelsea at all. I thought it was another EA tag that was wrong. lol

I bought a small Krimson queen (princess?) and it wanted to go back to all green. I pinched the green off a couple of times which set it back a bit but it has finally decided to grow variegated and is getting some size. I never heard the term busted.

I think it was Denise on the forum that came up the term ' busted'. It certainly fits. lol

I have taken the all green vines from my KP and made a separate plant and call it 'Reverted Carnosa Variegated (KP)' It's still a very pretty Hoya even if it's a little boring looking. :-)

I wonder if mine is "busted" lol...I can't tell.

Ok, I have come to the conclusion that I have a "busted" Chelsea and a "not busted" Chelsea :-P ...here they are
