Is this a sedge weed?

I am in the San Francisco area.

I have used Quinclorac on all of the lawn weeds and Ortho Nutsedge Killer on these, both to middling results. Did I wait too long to spray? Or should I have used something else? We have had so much rain, I was unable to spray when I wanted to.

    That looks like a grass to me, rather than a sedge.
