    This umbrella is 101" tall, with a canopy measuring 79"L x 61"W.

    So it fits (stands) under a 9' patio overhang, correct?And, the area against the wall is 79", correct? Also, does it tilt?

    It depends on the base you use with the umbrella. The umbrella does not come with a base and some can cause the umbrella to reach slightly more than 9 feet. Yes the umbrella does tilt.
