LOL, Kim! For sure, it always looks better on paper!!!

Sometimes at the end of day I look at my desired to do list that didnt get finished and add the stuff I did do and then cross it off. I can hear littleman saying "bank-check daddys work- check laundry-check feed dogs- check" our list is done !!!

Oh that's good, Kim. LOL. I'm going to try that approach, add stuff that I do that wasn't on the list and then check it off. I should come out as much more productive that way, right?

Y'all are making me laugh. I ought to make a list because there's days I feel like I haven't accomplished anything, even though I've done a lot. Some days it is hard to balance all the indoor chores with the outdoor chores, so my list would skew heavily towards outdoor chores at this time of the year. I try to save as much of the indoor chores as possible for rainy days, which has been a problem in March since the rain hasn't been falling. Today's list would include picking up everything the wind has blown around this week, including lawn furniture, and putting it back where it belongs. I did a lot of indoor chores yesterday morning, and sort of scattered throughout the day as I went back and forth from the indoors to the outdoors, but there was a method to my madness. With all the indoor chores checked off my mental list, I can spend most all of the weekend outside.

My mother is a list maker and I also enjoy my list. It helps me to focus, think easily sidetracked, a d d, I refer to my list at least once a day. Sometimes just to laugh somewhat maniacally at it and the fact that I did no thing on the list.

DH once told me if I could find a job making lists I would have found my calling. I never get all of it done, but it is satisfying to cross things off. I have 2 lists, an indoor list and an outdoor list. And maybe a shopping list. It doesn't mean I use them, but I start out with a plan.

I have 4 running lists. Inside, outside, someday, shopping. Since I only do shopping every 2 to 4 weeks it helps me keep up with odd needs I come across while working.
