Hello there, our Brisa screens are intended to have a lot of "give" so that if a small child ran through it the screen would push out enough to alert him to stop. If he was actively trying to run out of the door with force he may be able to get through. This is by no means a entry door but it provides enough protection for little ones and the Brisa has lines going horizontally on the screen to alert small animals and children that it is there on bright sunny days.
