I have a batch of about 10 different varieties of chilli plants growing in pots on my balcony. They're all looking pretty healthy except for two plants that have sprouted strange coloured chillies. The peppers went from a light green to a pinkish colour then on to a pale melon colour. I presumed they were orange or yellow habeneros, but instead of turning a true orange or yellow, they're now turning a white colour and dying.
Any idea what's up here and what type of chillis these actually are? the plants are quite bushy and they sprout a wrinkly lantern shaped chilli. The aphids are particularly keen on these two plants and one of them (the one in the pics) has black spots over some of the chillies.
