Are these bedroom lamps to tall

I have bought these lamps and they have a silver shade. I will be getting rid of the tables when we move but still need lamps. Do these lamps suit the bed and if I got shorter end tables would they work better. And should I stick with a white shade.

Pretty lamps; they are not too tall; I wonder if they give you enough light w/silver shade? I would opt/consider two wall mount sconces for reading.

They are not to tall. If you get shorter tables they will be to short. The silver is pretty but if you need light to read will probably need white shades.

Not at all too tall, if anything your tables may be too short. Taller tables will elongate the walls in my opinion or once you place an item (wreath or picture) over bed it will raise your eye up toward the ceiling for proper proportion with the window height. Lamp shades color look great w/ sheers. I like them alot.

We are selling the house so I would prefer table lamps. These lamps take a 100w but I have a led5000k in it and it's pretty bright

I really liked the base of the lamp, I can change the shade if need be but it works really well with the bedding and drape. Ok I'm keeping them !!
Do you think I should put anything on the table with the lamp?

You would benefit from abstract painting above the bed and a throw in one of the colours in the artwork. Lamps are ok nothing special I would like more substantial base and different colour .

I think the headboard is too short for the lamps. Wall sconces would be better, you'd have more space on your nightstand for books and water too.

The style would largely depend on the new bedside table but here is what I like.

Oskuee, since we are selling I didn't want to put holes in the wall above the bed.
I also wondered if I needed a thicket base since the bed is so big.

Nandina home design, that you so much , after living with the lamps for a few days , I'm taking them back. You were right about the light, even with a 100w it was still dark., also I find them to tall and to thin.
Back I go!
