I look at a remodel as an open book more or less, especially with bathrooms. They tend to get gutted to the studs in older homes for all new plumbing, etc.

And is the door that will be left movable down along that wall?

hi, I think your first floorplan will give you more of a flow and more space, the second one that you posted seems a bit more cramped with corners sticking out..

on the first plan, can you switch the toilet with the vanity? that way, you don't have the toilet first thing you enter the room -

See the attached photo which is actually the same layout as on your plan (toilet and vanity switched) , besides for the toilet not being in a separate room

I came up with another option that's a bit different than either of yours. You will have 26" everywhere between everything.

The tub will have a 24" high wall at the sink end. It is a standard tub size at 30" x 60" but its a deeper soaking depth. The shower is 30" x 42", the same size I have in one of my bathrooms and its sizeable. It can be all glass or have a partial lower wall next to the toilet and be all glass on the tub side with a glass door.

I guesstimated the window top-to-bottom size.
