You can stain the bricks so they're more even toned. It's better for them than painting. Then paint the garage doors a darker color so they disappear. I'd also consider painting the red concrete steps a darker gray. Sorry, no suggestions for landscaping.

I agree with removing the fence/pillars to open up the yard and make it feel more inviting. If possible, cover the red steps with a natural stone or tile that blends with the tones of the stone on the house. Go to a local masonry or tile store and bring home samples that you can set next to the house and look at in different lights of the day. There are a lot of hard surfaces that I would remove and replace with softer native/low water use plants throughout and eliminate lawn altogether. Lastly, paint the garage doors to match the trim color of the house.

Here in so cal there are some great ways to landscape a yard with less water plants but still look green. For the fence u could soften it with vines or put leafy plants behind it.
