Hello Adriana D,

Yes it looks too small. Is it a 5 x 7 size? Maybe try a 6 x 9.

It is a 4X6, should I get the 5x 7 or the one you suggested?

It looks like if you get a bigger size it will extend into your walkway.

This area is next to a walk away, so if I get a bigger rug it would extend to it.

It's under the front legs of your furniture and it defines the small space you've designated as your office. So, for me, it works.

Longer, yes. Wider, no. Don't go past the wall.

Try the 5 x 7 in that case. Looks like you have about a foot to go back under the accent chair. And the extra foot in length can go under the right side cabinet.

Thank you, I rally appreciate all the advice

Push the rug all the way under the desk and leave the side chair off the rug.

The side chair needs to be on the rug to visually be part of that grouping.

I would prefer the rug under the desk and the side chair scooted a little further away from the side of the desk. Very nice.

I think that's better. Move the side chair a bit more away from the desk and angle it slightly towards the d so. Questions for you: is it difficult to move the desk chair around since it is on the rug? Does the chair roll easily? In time, will it damage the rug?

I don't don't it difficult to move the rolling chair on the rug! I kind of like how the rug brings more stability to the chair and defines de area. Maybe over time the will damaged since I spend several hours there every day

I agree with Grey, if I don't put the side chair in the rug it looks awkward. I would move the fair but sit just nice to get some company when I am doing homework. Eventually I want to get a ghost chair there, since it is asking next to my living room couch.
I think I will try the bigger rug, but I will drive everyone nuts when is time to move the desk again.

I find rugs to be difficult as well as pillows.
