Seems like they would have bigger plants and lots more flowers. Never get rid of them.

There is a guy in southern CA that has a boliviensis tuber that is over 12 inches across! I wonder how big they get in the wild.

I tried to find a picture of it on line as I hate to pull one of his photos from an email to show.

I've seen some huge tuberous begonia plants with many large flowers at begonia shows - I assume they came from huge tubers. My guess is that you have a flower gold mine,

You can always cut it like a potato making sure you have some eyes in each cut part and treat each cut with fungicide before planting (allow the cuts to callus for a day or two though). Your call though...
