Guess what, Hoya friends?

I know I haven't been on much lately. My life has been filled with new and interesting things. Some of you know I sold my business last summer, and now I'm working part time at a job I refer to as "the best minimum wage job I've ever had."

But what I'm writing about today is that I got published in The Hobby Greenhouse Association's magazine - an article about Hoyas. Now, all you Hoya nuts will see it as basic information, because this is a magazine about all aspects of growing, from flower gardening, vegetable gardening, houseplants, and I'm sure all the subscribers do not have a greenhouse. Unfortunately, in the hard print, they got my last name wrong! But that's ok - they revised it in the digital format, and I will share the link below to my Google page, where I posted the magazine. It comes out 4 times a year, and if you're interested in subscribing, all that information is in there as well. I just had to share with all my Hoya Peeps!

Congratulations, just read it!...made me think back of when I bought my first Hoya. It was pubicalyx. Second was kerrii.

Nice, Denise, congratulations! I'm putting together a program on hoyas to present to garden clubs (I'm a Master Gardener). I read your article and picked up a couple of items that I want to include in my talk. In May I present the program to the Master Gardeners for feedback (critic). This will be my hardest audience! Otherwise as long as I know more than my audience I don't have to know THAT much. ;-0 haha!

Thanks for all the kudos, and that's AWESOME, Larua! My cactus club has me give a little "program" about Hoyas every few years. I'm NOT a comfortable public speaker, but I know all those people well now and it's not TOO far out of my comfort zone!! Good luck with your program... Loved the article. I have been struggling not to water a couple of my Hoyas more, thanks to your impressive article, I will first thing in the morning. Very impressive. Thanks for posting it.
